May 2005 marked 225 years of nursing.

This website aims to reconstruct events during those 225 years represented by the ruins of the Military Hospital shown below.

This history acknowledges persons who pioneered nursing care. It also celebrates the women and men who modelled nursing care in the 1950s and 1960s.
